Location: The Ritz-Carlton, Boston Common
We are seeking ladies and gentlemen to join our culinary team and prepare cuisine for our on site restaurant Jer-ne, light fare, afternoon tea in The Gallery Lobby Lounge, 24hr In Room Dining Service, plus catered events in our ballroom.
You will be responsible for preparing all major food items, including all soups, roasts, sauces, and vegetables. Plan, prep, set up and provide quality service in all areas of food production for menu items and specials. Maintain a high degree of organization, cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment. Responsible for opening and closing checklists.
Must be able to read and follow menus and recipes and compute basic mathematical calculations. Must be available to work a flexible schedule including weekends. Previous experience required and culinary school preferred.
Wage rate: $15.00 - $17.50 Benefits: Health Insurance (medial, dental, vision, life insurance), 401K, vacation, sick and holiday pay.
