The Rhode Island Hospitality Association Education Foundation will be hosting a two day seminar on "Food Safety Plan Development Program." The program will be held on Monday, March 17th and Tueday March 25th from 8am to 12:00 noon at the RI Community Food Bank and is open to RIHTA members as well as the general public.

The Rhode Island Department of Health (DOH) requires that a foodservice establishment have a written food safety plan that implements the requirements of the RI Food Code. This seminar is designed to provide participating food service providers, retailers, and processors, a step by step guide for developing a DOH mandated Food Safety Plan.  The seminar will be led by Phil Ventresca from ESI International.  He is an ASQ (American Society of Quality) certified quality auditor, ASQ certified Harzard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), a certified health officer and a certified fraud examiner.
